Nexon Leads LLC (“Nexon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our websites, landing pages, forms, or other digital properties, or when you request information, a callback, or a connection with an insurance professional.
This Policy applies to information collected through our marketing and consumer-acquisition activities, including campaigns involving Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, Final Expense, ACA Marketplace, Health Indemnity, Auto Insurance, and other products or services we may support. A particular form or campaign may provide additional privacy or consent disclosures; those disclosures are part of the applicable consumer experience.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the page, campaign, and information you choose to provide, we may collect:
- Contact information, such as first name, last name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, and ZIP code.
- Information you provide in response to questions on a form, including general insurance interests or requested product information.
- Consent records, including the date and time of submission, the form or landing page used, the consent language presented, checkbox status, and related confirmation information.
- Technical and device information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring URL, and website activity.
- Marketing-source information, such as campaign, advertisement, keyword, publisher, landing-page, and lead-source information.
- Lead verification and attribution information, including identifiers or certificates generated by services such as TrustedForm and LeadID/Jornaya when those services are used.
- Communications and call information where applicable, including call recordings or verification records, subject to applicable law and required notices.
2. How We Collect Information
We may collect information:
- Directly from you when you complete a form, request a callback, call us, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Automatically through cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies when you use our websites.
- From advertising and marketing platforms, search engines, attribution providers, lead-verification services, and technology vendors used to operate or measure campaigns.
- From service providers that help validate consent, prevent fraud, route inquiries, or maintain records.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Respond to your request and facilitate a connection with a licensed insurance agency or licensed insurance professional.
- Communicate with you about products, services, or information you requested, consistent with the consent you provide and applicable law.
- Verify and document consumer consent and the source and authenticity of leads.
- Facilitate callbacks, call transfers, lead verification, quality assurance, customer support, and related operations.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our websites, forms, systems, and marketing campaigns.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, and security incidents.
- Maintain business, compliance, accounting, legal, and audit records.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from regulators, courts, carriers, or other authorized parties.
4. Consumer Consent and Marketing Communications
The specific consent language displayed on the form or landing page you use governs the communications you authorize. Depending on the form, consent may cover telephone calls, text messages, automated or prerecorded/artificial voice calls, email, or other communications, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing property, goods, or services. You may withdraw consent for future marketing communications, subject to applicable law and any limitations associated with communications you separately requested.
If a form identifies specific companies or categories of recipients to whom your information may be provided, those disclosures are part of the applicable consent process. This Policy does not replace or override the specific disclosure presented at the time information is collected.
5. Lead Verification and Compliance Technologies
We may use services such as TrustedForm, LeadID/Jornaya, analytics platforms, call-tracking systems, fraud-prevention tools, and similar technologies to document the source of an inquiry, verify consent, prevent fraud, attribute marketing activity, and maintain compliance records. These providers may process technical information and lead-related identifiers on our behalf.
6. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients, as appropriate to your request and the applicable campaign:
- Licensed insurance agencies and licensed insurance professionals who may respond to your request.
- Insurance carriers or other insurance-related organizations when disclosure is necessary for the requested service or permitted marketing activity.
- Lead-verification, consent-certification, call-tracking, CRM, hosting, analytics, communications, security, and technology service providers.
- Marketing and advertising partners that support campaign delivery, attribution, or lead generation, subject to applicable consent and contractual requirements.
- Professional advisers, auditors, legal counsel, regulators, courts, government authorities, or other parties when required or permitted by law.
- A successor, buyer, or other party involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may disclose information as described above when authorized by your consent, necessary to provide a requested service, or otherwise permitted or required by law.
7. Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics
Our websites may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, session technologies, and similar tools to maintain functionality, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand campaign performance, detect fraud, and improve user experience. Some tools may be provided by third parties. Your browser or device may provide controls for managing certain cookies and tracking technologies.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to requests, documenting consent, verifying leads, maintaining business and compliance records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and satisfying legal or contractual obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and applicable requirements.
10. Telephone and Do-Not-Call Preferences
You may request that Nexon Leads LLC place your telephone number on our internal Do-Not-Call list for future marketing calls from Nexon, subject to applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below.
If you previously provided express consent to receive calls, texts, or other marketing communications through one of our forms, you may also withdraw that consent for future communications by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent may not affect communications that you separately requested or communications otherwise permitted by law.
Nexon may facilitate communications with independent licensed insurance agencies or professionals. A request made to Nexon may not automatically constitute a request to every independent third party that may have separately contacted you. You may separately request that a particular agency or caller place your number on that entity’s internal Do-Not-Call list.
You may also register your telephone number with the National Do Not Call Registry. Registration does not eliminate every type of call permitted under applicable law, including certain calls for which a consumer has provided consent or that fall within an applicable legal exception.
11. Text Message and Communication Preferences
If you have consented to receive text messages from Nexon or a participating party, you may opt out of marketing text messages by replying “STOP” where that functionality is supported, or by contacting us using the information below. Other opt-out keywords or instructions may be provided in the applicable message.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. Opting out of marketing text messages does not necessarily affect service-related or other communications that you separately requested or that are permitted by law.
12. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and whether a particular privacy law applies to Nexon, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These rights may include the right to access or know about personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, obtain a copy or portability of certain information, opt out of certain processing, and receive equal treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
The availability, scope, exceptions, verification requirements, response periods, and appeal procedures for these rights vary by state. Nexon will process verified privacy requests in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this Policy creates rights beyond those provided by applicable law.
13. California Privacy Notice
This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended, applies to Nexon’s processing of their personal information. The CCPA provides covered California consumers with rights that can include the right to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising applicable rights.
Categories of information we may collect include identifiers and contact information; commercial or insurance-related information you choose to provide; internet or network activity; approximate location; inferences or preferences derived from information you provide; and other categories described in this Policy. We may collect this information from you, your device, advertising and marketing platforms, lead-verification providers, analytics providers, and other service providers.
We may use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in Sections 3 and 6, including responding to requests, facilitating connections with licensed insurance professionals, verifying consent, operating and securing our services, measuring campaigns, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.
California consumers may submit applicable privacy requests by contacting Nexon at info@nexonleads.com or 1-727-416-5705. We may use reasonable procedures to verify requests where permitted or required by law. California consumers may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law, subject to applicable authorization and verification requirements.
Nexon will not discriminate against a California consumer for exercising a privacy right to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
14. California Sale/Sharing Opt-Out and Global Privacy Control
California law provides covered consumers with a right to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information. Nexon does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, whether a particular disclosure constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under California law depends on the facts, the recipient, the purpose, and the applicable legal definitions.
If Nexon is subject to a California requirement to provide a sale/sharing opt-out, Nexon will provide the required opt-out mechanism and honor applicable opt-out requests. For covered online activities, applicable Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals will be handled as required by law.
Because Nexon’s lead-generation model may involve transfers to licensed insurance agencies, insurance professionals, verification providers, and other service providers, the legal classification of each transfer should be determined based on the actual arrangement and applicable law.
15. California Do-Not-Call and Telemarketing Preferences
California consumers may request that a telemarketer place their telephone number on that telemarketer’s internal Do-Not-Call list. You may make such a request to Nexon using the contact information below.
If a call is made by an independent licensed insurance agency or professional, you may also need to submit a Do-Not-Call request directly to that entity. Nexon will not represent that a request to Nexon automatically places a consumer on the internal Do-Not-Call list of every independent third party.
Consumers may also use the National Do Not Call Registry and applicable complaint or enforcement processes. Nexon will honor applicable federal and state Do-Not-Call requirements and valid consent withdrawals.
16. Privacy Requests, Authorized Agents, and Appeals
To submit a privacy request, contact Nexon using the email address or telephone number below and describe the nature of your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or locate the applicable record, subject to applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a privacy-rights decision, your appeal request should identify the decision you wish to appeal. Nexon will review and respond within the period required by applicable law.
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
17. Do Not Sell or Share
Nexon does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share information with licensed insurance agencies, licensed insurance professionals, service providers, lead-verification providers, and other permitted recipients as described in this Policy and as authorized by applicable consent.
If applicable law treats a particular disclosure as a sale or sharing, Nexon will provide and honor the rights and opt-out mechanisms required by that law.
18. Children’s Privacy
Our websites and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can evaluate and address the request.
19. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our websites may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, forms, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or services. We will post the revised Policy with an updated effective date. Material changes may be communicated through additional notices where required.
21. Contact Us
For privacy, Do-Not-Call, text-message, or applicable state privacy requests, please identify the request type in your communication so we can route it appropriately.
